Project 5 Ann Court

The States of Jersey Housing Department wished to consider the future of a 25-year-old housing estate. Barnes & Collie carried out a consultation exercise to canvass the views of residents about the difficulties they face living on the estate. An overwhelming majority of residents want to continue living at Ann Court. We prepared a study comparing the feasibility of five options from refurbishment of the existing buildings to complete redevelopment of the site. All five options were budgeted and programmed and are considered deliverable. The selected scheme includes an element of new build accommodation in flats and houses together with refurbishment of existing buildings and as well as landscape designs for communal open spaces and private gardens. Construction is programmed for 2008-9.
